An event planner is someone who organizes events from start to finish. They typically get involved early, choosing a venue, setting a budget, booking vendors, and building out the overall plan before handing off to coordinators closer to the event date.
Event planners work on all kinds of events, including weddings, corporate functions, trade shows, and vendor markets. Some work independently while others are part of an agency or an in-house team.
