Events Near Me is officially rebranding to Marketlly. If you've been with us from the start, we wanted to share the full story of how we got here and where we're headed.
How It Started
We launched Events Near Me in 2025 with a simple idea to help people discover local events in their community.
But the more we talked to people, the more we kept running into the same thing. Market organizers were managing their entire vendor process through Google Forms.
Applications, payments, approvals, all of it, manually, through a form.
It really hit home when we sat down with Mike, a local certified farmers' market organizer.
He told us that running his market had become so buried in admin work that he was starting to lose his passion for it. Something he had built for his community had turned into a tedious task.
That conversation changed everything. We stopped asking "how do people find events?" and started asking "how do we make it easier to run them?"
Where We Are Today
Since then, we've grown to over 1,000 vendors and organizers on the platform. Markets are being managed, vendors are finding new opportunities, and we're just getting started.
